The majority of our trains are steam hauled, however diesel engines are used at off peak and other times. Every effort will be made to ensure running as timetable, but the Welsh Highland Railway does not guarantee advertised connections nor the advertised traction in the event of breakdown or other obstruction of services.

Trains now run through the Aberglaslyn Pass to Hafod y Llyn. This extended journey will provide the perfect opportunity to experience the scenic delights of a ride through the spectacular Aberglaslyn Pass. Due to its remote location and lack of facilities, Hafod y Llyn Halt is only suitable for self-reliant walkers.
